Meet Reginald McDonald
Senior Pastor | Bridge of Life Community Fellowship Church
Pastor Reginald McDonald, affectionately known as Pastor Reggie, is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Born to Hilary and Clarice McDonald, he grew up in a loving family as one of eleven children. With his father serving as a deacon in the Baptist church, Pastor Reggie was introduced to faith, worship, and the importance of serving God at an early age. Those early experiences helped lay the foundation for his journey in ministry.
Pastor Reggie earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Shaw University before answering another call to serve — this time in the United States Army. After 15 years of dedicated military service, he retired from active duty. Beyond his accomplishments, family remains an important part of his life. He is married to his wife, Ruth Delois McDonald, and together they are blessed with their daughter, Tatianna, and their beloved goddaughter, Khalia.
While residing in Raleigh, North Carolina, Pastor Reggie answered God's call into ministry and was licensed and ordained in 2010. His journey at Bridge of Life Community Fellowship Church has been one of continued growth and faithful service. Over the years, he has served as Youth Pastor, Senior Associate Pastor, and Lead Pastor, embracing each opportunity to serve the church and its congregation.
After serving as Lead Pastor for 14 months, Pastor Reggie was officially installed as Senior Pastor on June 22, 2014.
For Pastor Reggie, ministry is more than standing behind the pulpit — it is about serving God, loving people, and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ. As he continues his journey as Senior Pastor, his commitment remains rooted in faith, family, fellowship, and following wherever God leads.
Meet First Lady Ruth Delois McDonald
First Lady | Bridge of Life Community Fellowship Church
First Lady Ruth Delois McDonald, affectionately known to her church family as First Lady Delois, is a beloved part of Bridge of Life Community Fellowship Church. Known for her generous spirit, creativity, and heart for serving others, she has been sharing her gifts and talents with The Bridge since 2009, bringing joy, warmth, and fellowship to the church community.
Whether lending a helping hand in the kitchen during church events, bringing creative ideas to life, or finding thoughtful ways to make gatherings special, First Lady Delois is always willing to serve. Her creativity and enthusiasm help make The Bridge a welcoming, engaging, and joyful place for people of all ages.
Beyond her involvement in the church, she is a devoted wife to Pastor Reginald McDonald, a loving mother to their daughter, Tatianna, and a proud godmother to Khalia. Her love for family and community is reflected in the kindness and generosity she extends to those around her.
For First Lady Delois, serving others is more than something she does — it is a reflection of her heart. Through her giving spirit, creativity, and dedication, she continues to make a meaningful difference in the life of The Bridge.
